Una delle più belle spiagge del nord Sardegna, tra il verde chiaro delle acque cristalline e quello acceso della vegetazione circostante, immersa in un suggestivo contesto naturale. Le sue spettacolari dune sabbiose sono incastonate tra le scogliere dell’Isola Rossa e la Punta Li Canneddi. La stupenda ed estesa spiaggia della Marinedda ti colpirà per il contrasto tra le tonalità delle sue acque cristalline, il chiarore della sua sabbia e il granito rosso degli imponenti scogli dalle forme variegate. Fa parte dello stesso tratto costiero della spiaggia Longa, che fa capo al pittoresco borgo di pescatori di Isola Rossa, nel territorio di Trinità d’Agultu e Vignola.
Where the wind smells of myrtle, one of the most beautiful beaches of northern Sardinia, between the clear green of the crystalline waters and the bright one of the surrounding vegetation, immersed in an evocative natural context. Its spectacular sandy dunes are set between the cliffs of Isola Rossa and Punta Li Canneddi. The beautiful and extensive beach of the Marinedda will hit you by the contrast between the shades of the crystalline waters, the brightness of its sand and the red granite of the imposing rocks with varied shapes. It is part of the same coastal stretch of the Longa beach, which leads to the picturesque fishing village of Isola Rossa, in the territory of Trinità d'Agultu and Vignola.
LA SPIAGGIA THE BEACH
La sabbia, leggera e bianca degrada dolcemente in un fondale basso, adatto a balneazione e gioco dei bambini, e alle spalle forma dune ricoperte da vegetazione mediterranea. È una spiaggia famosa per gli amanti del windsurf e ogni anno ad agosto ospita gare internazionali di specialità. Una parte è attrezzata con sdraio ed ombrelloni ed offre vari servizi per gli sport nautici e scuola di vela. È accessibile a diversamente abili, ci sono ampio parcheggio, campeggio, hotel, bar e ristoranti. È unita alla bellissima spiaggia dell’Isola Rossa ed è vicina alla spiaggetta Li Femini, che si trova a fianco al porticciolo. A una decina di chilometri stanno Li Feruli (o Li Mindi), sempre nel territorio dell’Isola Rossa e la romantica baia di Li Tinnari, spiaggia della Costa Paradiso, nascosta tra le rocce di granito e formata da pietrine di trachite rossa e grigia, che potrai raggiungere a piedi o dal mare.
The light and white sand slopes gently into a shallow seabed, suitable for bathing and playing children, and behind it forms dunes covered with Mediterranean vegetation. It is a popular beach for windsurfers and every year in August it hosts international specialty competitions. A part is equipped with deckchairs and umbrellas and offers various services for water sports and sailing school. It is accessible to the disabled, there are ample parking, camping, hotels, bars and restaurants. It is connected to the beautiful Red Island beach and is close to the Li Femini beach, which is next to the small port. At about ten kilometers are Li Feruli (or Li Mindi), always in the territory of the Red Island and the romantic bay of Li Tinnari, Costa Paradiso beach, hidden among the granite rocks and formed by red and gray trachyte stones, that you can reach on foot or from the sea.

Partendo da Isola Rossa si incontra per prima la Valle della Luna, una vallata chiamata in questo modo per la particolare conformazione e posizione delle rocce che rimanda a un paesaggio lunare. Rocce erose e ossidate che, osservate dall’alto di un belvedere sulla strada, possono alimentare la vostra fantasia per le mille forme che assumono ai vostri occhi. Un luogo imperdibile se vi trovate nei pressi de L’Isola Rossa e Badesi.
Starting from Isola Rossa, the first is the Valle della Luna, a valley called in this way because of the particular shape and position of the rocks that leads back to a lunar landscape. Eroded and oxidized rocks that, viewed from the top of a belvedere on the road, can fuel your imagination for the thousands of shapes that you take in your eyes. An unmissable place if you are near the Isola Rossa and Badesi.

Proseguendo sulla strada, si incontra il bivio per Aggius. Il piccolo ma delizioso Borgo, inserito tra i borghi autentici d’Italia e Bandiera Arancione, è una tappa obbligatoria per un break. I tavolini dei caffè sulla via principale, le botteghe di prodotti artigianali e dei caratteristici tappeti tessuti a mano, nonchè il Museo Etnografico Oliva Carta Cannas e il Museo del Banditismo, renderanno sicuramente interessante e piacevole la vostra sosta!
Continuing on the road, you meet the junction for Aggius. The small but delightful Borgo, inserted between the authentic villages of Italy and the Orange Flag, is an obligatory stop for a break. The coffee tables on the main street, the craft shops and the characteristic hand-woven carpets, as well as the Museo Museo Oliva Carta Cannas and the Museum of Banditry, will surely make your stopover interesting and enjoyable!

Da Aggius si raggiunge il Monte Pulchiana in appena 15 minuti di auto. Il monolite più grande della Sardegna si erge su un altopiano coperto da una vegetazione bassa e rada. Questo monte è considerato un inselberg, originato da un processo di idrolisi che ha portato al disfacimento della roccia e alla creazione del paesaggio circostante unico nel suo genere in tutta l’isola. Un luogo selvaggio da visitare in Gallura, un’escursione da fare soprattutto durante la suggestiva primavera sarda, per godere al meglio dei suoi colori, i profumi di macchia mediterranea e il clima mite.
From Aggius you reach Monte Pulchiana in just 15 minutes by car. The largest monolith in Sardinia stands on a plateau covered by low and sparse vegetation. This mountain is considered an inselberg, originated by a process of hydrolysis that led to the breakup of the rock and the creation of the unique surrounding landscape of the island. A wild place to visit in Gallura, an excursion to be made especially during the evocative Sardinian spring, to enjoy the best of its colors, the scents of Mediterranean maquis and the mild climate.

Sulla strada di ritorno al vostro Hotel una tappa al Nuraghe Majori è d’obbligo! Situato a circa due Km da Tempio Pausania, è il nuraghe più conosciuto di tutta l’ Alta Gallura. Un nuraghe monotorre con un impianto a Tholos e corridoi, che si raggiunge dopo una piacevole passeggiata tra le querce da sughero. Giovani guide esperte saranno liete di illustrarvi non solo il sito archeologico ma fornirvi nozioni utili per conoscere la civiltà nuragica in Sardegna. Un luogo immerso nella natura dove troverete anche un piccolo shop di prodotti artigianali, gioielli sardi e souvenir originali creati da artisti del luogo.
On the way back to your Villa, a stop at Nuraghe Majori is a must! Located about two kilometers from Tempio Pausania, it is the best known nuraghe in the whole of the Gallura region. A single tower nuraghe with a Tholos plant and corridors, which can be reached after a pleasant walk among the cork oaks. Young expert guides will be happy to illustrate not only the archaeological site but to provide you with useful information to know the Nuragic civilization in Sardinia. A place surrounded by nature where you will also find a small shop of handicrafts, Sardinian jewelry and original souvenirs created by local artists.

Al rientro sul far della sera una passeggiata sul lungomare dell’Isola Rossa dal porto fino alla spiaggia Longa sarebbe un bel modo per concludere una giornata alternativa di vacanza . Ma c’e’ un posto speciale dove è possibile osservare il tramonto e perdersi nell’orizzonte del mare sul Golfo dell’Asinara: la Torre Aragonese. Costruita su un promontorio di circa 35 metri sul mare, purtroppo la torre non può essere visitata ma fa parte della suggestiva scenografia, quando il colore del mare e del sole diventano rossi come le rocce della Costa Rossa. Un luogo di pace, immerso nella natura, senza uscire dal paese!
On returning to the evening, a walk along the promenade of the Isola Rossa from the port to the Longa beach would be a nice way to end an alternative day of vacation. But there is a special place where you can watch the sunset and get lost in the horizon of the sea on the Gulf of Asinara: the Aragonese Tower. Built on a promontory of about 35 meters over the sea, unfortunately the tower can not be visited but it is part of the suggestive scenography, when the color of the sea and the sun become red like the rocks of the Costa Rossa.
